We are seeking an experienced iOS developer who would be helping develop a digital banking platform, George, which combines design and technology on an open platform. Others may see you as just a developer, but we see you as an architect of elegant, maintainable code that translates to a beautiful user experience. You live by the mantra that clean code is king, and developing top-quality mobile apps is in your DNA.
Implement new features for the George banking platform, and when needed, change and extend existing features with refactoring.
The role is central to the overall delivery process, assisting business analysts in introducing new features.
Working hand-in-hand with the design team to help create the best possible user experience
Several years of experience in iOS development within a dynamic Agile environment
A toolkit full of Swift and UIKit expertise, with some SwiftUI know-how on the side
A healthy knowledge of the Rest API and source-code management using Git
Experience in refactoring and working with legacy code
Experience with reactive programming (ReactiveSwift, Combine, or similar) and Swift Package Manager is a plus.
Fluent English
Those who have already started on the road from journeyman to master
EU citizens or those that hold a valid visa, permit, or trade license with the right to work in the country that the position is based in. This includes relevant work visas, residence permits, an EU Blue Card, or a British national living in the EU with the correct UK Brexit withdrawal agreement documentation.
