Simplity Group is looking for a Finance Specialist who will provide financial support for the firm and high-level expertise in financial issues. What you can expect:

  • Communication with external accounting/tax service providers for all entities

  • Planning and supervision of complex transactions (software activation and revenue recognition, equity changes) 

  • Tax (VAT and CIT) planning and coordination with external tax-services

  • Participation on annual financial closures for all entities within the group and consolidated statements, preparation of statutory provisional statements

  • Preparation of accounting backups, analysis, and participation in various purposes (cash flow forecasting, monthly reporting, loan management, subsidy programs, research and development)

  • Identification of intercompany transactions with respect to transfer pricing and supervision of intercompany invoicing

  • Intercompany loan management, reconciliations of intercompany balances

  • Preparation of assigned statistical reports (ČSÚ)

  • Processing of assigned issued and incoming invoices

  • Support and supervision of travel reports and asset management

Perfect job for you, if you have:

  • Min. 3 years of experience in a similar position in an international company 

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices as per Czech accounting standards

  • Experience with participation on annual and interim financial closures, reconciliations of general ledger accounts and accruals

  • Experience with financial reporting within the group

  • Basic knowledge of transfer pricing

  • Experience with accounting software

  • Good knowledge of MS Excel including some advanced features (i.e., contingency tables, arrays, advanced search functions)

  • Finance-accounting-related education - min. secondary

  • Excellent command of oral and written Czech and English; German is a huge plus

    Nice to have:

  • Experience with transfer pricing and subsidy programs

  • Experience in audit companies

  • Experience with data analytics software i.e., PowerBI

  • Experience with complex accounting transactions (i.e., SW depreciation and accounting and tax value planning, R+D)

  • IFRS-GAAP experience
