About this opportunity:

Our client is the 2nd largest bank group in Europe. The company provides B2B insurance and bank assurance solutions to partners in the banking, retail, telco, or utility sectors.

Currently, the company is issuing a project to set up a new BI/DWH solution for the European countries (approx. 10 countries, GE, ES, AT).

We are looking for a new team member who will analyze user requirements, design the architecture of a solution, and prepare a detailed specification for their implementation or the implementation itself.

What you can expect:

  • Provides input to business requirements for the design of solutions.

  • Interprets business requirements and determines optimum BI solutions to meet needs.

  • Identifies and provides input to new technology opportunities that will have an impact on the BI systems.

  • Design solutions and prepare architecture and data models incl. rules on data quality and outputs (reports)

  • Implementation of BI/DWH solutions and reports

Perfect job for you, if you have:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any other degree with a major part relevant to computing (advantage)

  • Fluent English and Czech, spoken and written (on daily basis), or any other European language is an advantage

  • MS SQL technologies like T-SQL – mandatory ( SSAS, SSIS, SSRS advantages)

  • Architecture and Data modeling technique (optionally – ArchiMate, UML)

  • Professionalism, meeting agreed to deadlines,

  • Communication and negotiation skills

  • Willing to learn new tools, approaches

Nice to have:

  • CASE tool - Sparx Enterprise Architect for modeling requirements, business processes, and solution design in ArchiMate language

  • WhereScape – DWH automates tools for ETL scripts generation

  • Knowledge of DWH and BI solution patterns (e.g. EPM)

  • Knowledge of Data modeling and usage of Standard models (e.g. Silverstone- Data Model Resource Book)

  • Knowledge of DAMA, TOGAF, and ITIL framework

  • Knowledge of business architecture and modeling

  • Metadata management
