About this opportunity:

As a Java Developer at Simplity you will join a team of skillful professionals working on the Accurity software suite. We are developing a set of SaaS web-based applications and websites to help businesses with Data Governance (Master Data Management, Data Quality, and Data Management). The majority of the team is based in Brno, but we also have offices in Prague and Belgrade, all cooperating on a daily basis.  You will work alongside our current developers to deliver features and new components into our applications, all of which are developed using a modern technology stack. You will be supported by colleagues dedicated to analysis, design, backend and frontend development, leaving you free to focus on using and improving your strengths in the technologies used. 

What you can expect:

  • Working on complex systems development. 

  • Perform coding, code commenting, debugging, bug fixing, code reviewing, and other related activities in accordance with company coding conventions, approved designs, and project standards. 

  • Follow the existing company, team, and project processes and procedures, and suggest how to improve them. 

  • Write technical design specifications, participate in design reviews, and provide input to the design recommendations. 

  • Keep yourself, your colleagues, and our codebase up to date with modern best practices. 

  • Be a member of an international agile team working closely with analysts, designers, DevOps, and testers. 

  • Work with a continuous integration approach to deliver features into our production applications. 

Perfect job for you, if you have:

  • Relevant experience in commercial Java projects. 

  • Good understanding and experience with object-oriented programming (OOP). 

  • Understanding of REST, SQL, and Git. 

  • Spring and Hibernate framework experience. 

  • Docker and Kubernetes experience is a plus. 

  • Experience with Cloud providers (AWS, GCP, etc.) is a plus.
