About this opportunity:

Simplity, an international data intelligence consultancy, is looking for a skilled Senior Sales Representative to help us sell our services to current and new clients. For more than 11 years, Simplity has been delivering data intelligence projects in the finance sector. Now, supported with a digital marketing strategy, we have decided to expand our portfolio of services into customer analytics, particularly in the e-commerce sector. Therefore, we are looking for a seasoned salesperson experienced with selling data-related services or products (ideally from the e-commerce or financial sectors). You should have a strong understanding of the sales process, excel at generating leads, be able to build relationships, and must be able to close deals. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with strong negotiating skills and the ability to highlight our offerings compellingly, be personable and professional.

What you can expect:

  • Represent our company’s services, starting with a comprehensive understanding, and leading to consumer research to identify how our services solutions meet customer needs

  • Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing prospects and finding new potential sales outlets to meet sales quotas

  • Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities

  • Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage the sales cycle to close new business in all service categories offered

  • Prepare professional, complete, concise, and accurate reports, proposals, booking packages, and other documentation as required for executive-level presentations

  • Identify best practices to refine the company’s lead generation playbook

  • Develop and implement a territory action plan and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field

  • Coordinate with the Marketing team on leads quality. Perform market research and regular competitor monitoring

  • Provide forecasts for specific accounts in regular reviews and drive leads through the sales funnel

  • Travel to customer locations at least 25% of the time

Perfect job for you, if you have:

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience with a history of exceeding lead targets preferably in B2B - IT or data intelligence industry

  • Experience with customer data solutions or selling CRM solutions

  • Advanced English (C1). Knowledge of German is a huge plus

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills

  • Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills

  • Self-direction and are keen to learn

  • Good time management skills

  • Proficiency with CRM and LinkedIn

  • Any certifications for, or completed any, courses in sales techniques (e.g., account-based selling, social selling), marketing, and/or communication, would be a bonus
